COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

Beginning in the (rather dramatic) summer of 2020, Maggie Stroud became the Communications Intern for URBAN FOCUS®. Maggie earned a degree in English Literature and Italian from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Ms. Stroud spent her undergraduate years translating Italian texts for publication, working as a language tutor on staff at the university, and seizing any opportunity she could to work and study in Italy. Aside from a background in language and technical writing, she has attracted a dedicated following with her visual art endeavors. Ms. Stroud is passionate about activism, particularly relating to urban community development, and applies her knowledge of public relations, marketing, and web design to building a complete communications framework for URBAN FOCUS® that will be sustainable for many years to come.
